20,000 Li-Polymer Power Bank Weight

Post by NATURAL ANKLING »

Hi,
With a power bank with a capacity of 10,000 mAh, Llithium polymer technology,-
1, How many separate battery units are contained in it?
2, What sort of weight would you expect it to be the whole unit, I have some and they are typically 240 g.

Just recently purchased a 20,000 mah Unit this weighs in at just 213 g?
What do you think, Both units are physically the same size?
That's approximately 145×70×15.

Hi,
I contacted the seller and suggested that the pack was too light.
The reply was if you wanted it to be heavier we can send you one with a stone in it!

They can have the thing back

My 26,800mAh Anker weighs around 450g. (And an older, unbranded 10,000mAh one - that seems to have a real life capacity in that order - weighs around 350g.)

I suspect your powerbank's capacity is using Chinese mAh (a bit like Chinese lumens :? ) that are a fraction of the value of those used in the rest of the world!

doesnt surprise me. It used to be 18650 lithium cells, one way to find if it was genuine was to weigh it, often the crooks would put inside a 18650 shell a smaller therefore lighter cell of lower capacity than claimed

I have a lidl powerbank supposedly 5000mah weighs 100grms.
so 20,000 would be 400 grms or so
so looka like the one you got is a con. I hope you sent it back as fraudulent
re the mah and lumens, remember chinese people are smaller on average than us

Perhaps it's got super new cell tech!
After all they are getting lighter...
