A friend's uncle used to make it in a shed on his allotment from tates he grew there. He was from Connaught and called it Poteen.

I made an error.....

I vaguely remember a couple of illegal stills being discovered in Sussex - so Googled "Sussex illegal stills"

I have 405,000 references to child pornography!

Something similar happened to me when I googled "tits" - with SafeSearch off  . At least it was adults. I think it was all adults...

Meanwhile, I just got an answer from the National Trust. They've forwarded my message and photo to the local NT group, maybe they'll look into it and see if there are any other instances in the area...

I has a breast moment too, I saw a forum member calling himself 'Bearded tit'

There's the old story of the lady who rang the BBC to complain she'd just turned the wireless on and heard a presenter say tits like coconuts. She said she was so disgusted she turned it off immediately. The BBC person said Madame if you'd listened a little longer you'd have heard that robins like worms.
