The "Royals" Thread
Re: The "Royals" Thread
I have no time for Andrew but I don’t see how funding a legal defence is harbours a suspected criminal. Of course, the Queen’s millions throw into relief the dual legal system we have: the richer you are the better your defence.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-58823289Andrew B Brettler, who represents Prince Andrew, had argued at a previous hearing that Ms Giuffre had entered into a "settlement agreement" with Epstein that would end her current legal action,
During the first pre-trial hearing of the case last month, Prince Andrew's lawyer said the agreement "releases the duke and others from any and all potential liability".
The prince's lawyers have said in court that Ms Giuffre agreed in 2009 not to sue anyone else connected to Epstein when she settled her damages claim against the billionaire sex offender, who died in prison in 2019.

Re: The "Royals" Thread
Bad news for Andy. A second of his close friends, with whom he exchanged favours over many years, has been convicted of sex trafficking.
At the very least it shows he has zero judgement of character, but many will now suspect his involvement goes way deeper than the casual friendship he claims.
I hope Balmoral has a secret chamber.

Indeed. These are hardly the actions of a man secure in the knowledge of his innocence. More like a show-biz shyster loop-hole bullshit lawyer.Psamathe wrote: ↑29 Dec 2021, 10:59pm But he's still trying to worm his way out of the case on technicalities. A pity he dodged the Exocet whilst flying his chopper in the Falklands. He could have been despatched with honour.
