Herne Hill on box.

Just seen some nice footage of Herne Hill on the telly, with the added spice of M.Portillo falling off his bike whilst stationary.

He was using toe clips and straps and leaning on a rail with his right hand. When offered the coach's hand to shake he let go of the rail and reached out to shake. But he overbalanced and toppled onto the coach, ending up in a confused heap.
I'm glad they did not cut this bit of amusement. I suppose it shows that he is not too precious about his dignity.
