Thomas Cook

Maybe the tourist resorts and countries affected should have bailed Cook out. Seems like Spain alone will be suffering losses far more than Cooks debts?

But that sort of thin happens so often. e.g. the much loved Jamie Oliver who so many felt sad for when his companies went bust earlier this year. Except:

...
Despite the losses, the company accounts confirm that Oliver still received a payout of £5.2m ...

So the much loved chef is maybe just another self interested businessman whose main interest is in getting his mega millions.
