Why single out Boris when every Prime Minister that has ever been in power has been a liar. Has one ever got elected without lying in some way. They never do what they claimed they would do etc. I can't believe people fall for this stuff over generations. It should be over in one generation with fathers telling their sons look, these politicians are just liars.

Giving power to people that crave power has never worked, isn't working and cannot ever work.

The result of the people's vote in 2016 released a huge amount of pent up anger, bitterness and contempt from a minority of the losers who tell us we are ignorant and uneducated while they are informed and educated.

Boris becoming PM has further incensed this group of people and prompted them to continue their unseemly behaviour.

Sit back and enjoy as they continue with their petty insults instead of putting forward policies which might appeal to electorate.

I sometimes wonder if they actually want political power or whether they actually prefer sniping from the sidelines in the role of an frustrated intelligentsia whose wisdom is never recognised by the stupid masses.

To back up this theory I remind readers of their teenage pop fan style adoration for Mr Blair. That didn't last long and soon they were moaning as usual.

As a direct result of poor and ineffectual government as of today the UK has the highest COVID19 related death toll in Europe.
As a result of ten years of austerity the NHS was ill equiped and still is to a certain extent,to deal with the crisis we now face, not least because the government of the day under Theresa May decided to bury and ignore the Cygnus report of 2016,the current government is a continuation of that poor governance.

The UK is on the edge of a precipice and it is the actions of 10 years of poor government that's put it there, that is an indisputable fact.

To clarify, by Trots I meant extreme lefties, the sorts you see on marches with dogs on strings, the resurected wreckers of the 70s etc, eg Militant once banned and those entering the Labour Party by the back door. With the demise of Jeremy and election of Kier it may be that many have now lost interest. Labour are out of sight currently and it will be interesting to see what sort of shape they are in if the virus can be beaten.

Isn't it time to remember what that well known hard left Trot Max Hastings said about de Piffle?
Hastings is a well known writer who has edited The Daily Telegraph and The Evening Standard. He had to sack de Piffle for making things up (lying).

There is room for debate about whether he is a scoundrel or mere rogue, but not much about his moral bankruptcy, rooted in a contempt for truth.

he is unfit for national office, because it seems he cares for no interest save his own fame and gratification.

Yet his graver vice is cowardice, reflected in a willingness to tell any audience, whatever he thinks most likely to please, heedless of the inevitability of its contradiction an hour later.

Almost the only people who think Johnson a nice guy are those who do not know him.

There is plenty more in this stream of negatism (sic).

It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?
