The second fine sunny day in a row, this is more like it! Another fine day is forecast for tomorrow before a big depression arrives on Thursday.

Heavy rain and wind -- a day for lying in your bed here.

Why have you moved my bed there?
I’ve told you before, leave my stuff alone!

Hi,

We usually check Cheviot for snow when we are on a ride east of Gala!
Camped just down from the cheviot on the pennies, mid June, snow in the gulley's on the approach.
As I started off a guy in a house in the valley said it will be wet, rained for two weeks solid.
Snow and rock hard ground for the whole week, sun and no clouds at all, fast walking, glad it did not thaw for more than a hour or two a day.

Its drying up here but still not warm and with gusty winds. A group of lejoger's came through the village yesterday. It was chucking it down and windy. Peak tours was the name on the refreshment tent they erected. At least the wind was behind them. :D
