Cloudy and fairly cool. Occasional sunny interlude but generally dire.
Just remember, when you’re over the hill, you begin to pick up speed.

Had a lovely day out cycling -- outward journey into a strong wind hoping to get a push home on the return -- wind dropped dramatically by the time we were on our way back. Nice evening though.

Rubbish for varnishing here today, very damp feel to the air. Other than that fairly warm but that said it is nearly June.

Chucked it down since 10:30 ish this morning.
Dry yesterday from early PM and all of last night. Woke up this morning to completely dry.

Didn't last long.
Me and Doggie went for a drenching hour walk and he got a nice rub-down with warm towel from Mummy when we got back home.

What did I get?
A welcome home kiss, told to get my wet filthy shoes off the carpet ............................. and then given a glass of beer.

It would be easy to say that it was too windy, liable to get wet or other excuses to procrastinate.

Took the chance and 16km mainly cross and head winds & drizzle on way for a coffee and flew home as tail wind in all but exposed back road by fields which was hard going.

N Wales pretty wet again.

Yesterday pm was pleasant enough.
The waterfalls were nice.

Intermittent torrential rain today, and wind too.
Quite chilly and completely non-May-like. I'm still in trousers and shoes and socks, not like as usual in shorts and sandals in May.

Midsummer in only four weeks time.

Saturday morning ride was dry, with a few spots of wetness.
Sunday forecast was horrendous - so of course I agreed to a 100-miler that someone organised.

We barely saw a drop of rain - despite riding over some soaked roads.

Which goes to show: you'll more often regret NOT going out, then regret going out, in my experience. Better to just take the chance, averaged over the long run :)

Just had two massive hail storms. Noise on the conservatory roof was ear splitting. Dogs have had their walk called off...

Went to work this morning and just finished outside as it started to rain.

Had lunch and a bit more work and home and planted some tomato plants.
