Re: How's your weather?
This is one of the most extraordinary videos I've ever watched, about the contrasts in daylight between summer and winter in northernmost Sweden:
Soon there will only be light for an hour or so at midday; at the height of summer it's the opposite. I kinda sorta knew that but I really had no idea.
Re: How's your weather?
Weather here is frustrating: clear sky, brilliant sunshine, temperature around 1°C, keen NE wind. It'd be perfect if the §$%&/( cardiologist hadn't commanded me to stay in when it was under 5°C. Right now I'm climbing the walls and thinking of trying it with crampons and a ice axe.
Have we got time for another cuppa?

Never been there in winter, so I can't comment.

It's flying trampoline weather!
Re: How's your weather?
Absolutely blowing a hooligan of a northerly very wet gale here, but every now and again, the sun comes out!

Here in the far Southwest the wind is gusting strongly but the big issue for me this evening was sleet which laid on the road making for tricky driving conditions leaving Penzance. However, 5 miles up the road in Hayle the roads weren’t even wet!
The older I get the more I’m inclined to act my shoe size, not my age.

I have 18mm space plastic windows and they're wallopin about like a set of bellows.

Fantastic picture Cowsham; good luck.
Same here in the North West of England, lights flickering then the power cut for a couple of minutes, fantastically windy since yesterday evening but dry initially and a bit of rain now and the wind's eased slightly.
I haven't slept well even with ear plugs
Storm Arwen apparently.
Still looking at 40mph plus today, just debating whether to go to the cycle jumble or not on the bike/train/bike !

Snowing here in South Staffordshire
Re: How's your weather?
Still rough here but think it's calmed slightly from the very high speed winds. Some snow laying.

Settled snow here in S Leeds but it's raining now. It's been windy overnight but it didn't seem as bad as forecast

In one of the RED warning areas in SE Scotland - Jeez it was windy last night, no major damage or trees down, our house was hit by part of a trampoline - lol
