Re: What Has Made You Laugh Today ?
After posting last week about not seeing any police so far this year - here I was today high up on a lonely moor road in the middle of nowhere, don't think I had seen another living soul in the last 15 miles

when I hear something coming the other way fast, so I stop at the side of the road, and guess what....... it even had its blue lights on. How utterly bizarre

The weather forecast.
I really do wish I'd taken screenshots on the Met office site and the BBC weather site earlier this morning.
Completely and utterly at odds with each other.
BBC said that we'd have sleet all day, but Met Office said a bit cloudy this morning, followed by wall-to-wall sunshine for the afternoon with no mention of sleet or any precipitation at all.
This was at 06:30 this morning.
By 08:00, the BBC had caught up. It really does make me giggle.

Still laughing now.
Sunny and bright most of the day today, though cold and windy of course.
Met Office were correct, and BBC completely wrong.
Here's screenshots of tomorrow's weather forecasts. Place your bets now!

middle of no where https://goo.gl/maps/MYx8qa4ErhRUyGNK7
I guess the writing on the bonnet is Gaelic ? not sure why, I don't think anyone speaks mainly gaelic for many a mile
not really a joke, but after saying I had not seen a policeman this year to suddenly nearly bump into one on this road did make me smile, and a smile is nearly a laugh ? thought I would share, maybe not?
Anyway, another bit of off-topicness (what made me smile yesterday)
not as good as "Forfar 4" but anyone got any simillar

Re: What Has Made You Laugh Today ?
Good question!
We have Twelvewoods, Fivelanes, Sevenstones, Four-lanes-end, Doublewaters, Twowatersfoot and Doublebois.
Can't say I've seen any direction posts to them with mileages on them though.

I also now realise I've ridden within 5 miles of Pebbles' photo!
Re: What Has Made You Laugh Today ?
We saw five police cars today.
When we see two, we consider them to be Devon and Cornwall police ................ one car each.
Five?

This car from The Flintstones always makes me smile, it's almost like it's just been revealed by a receding glacier. There's no explanation as to why it's parked on a traffic island near Preston.

What have you been up to Mick?
Just remember, when you’re over the hill, you begin to pick up speed.

It amused me but you know what they say about the innocent.
I am here. Where are you?
