Vanishing Topics?

Post by merseymouth »

Hello there, Am I having a "Senior Moment" or has the "Auschwitz" post topic been pulled?
Phantom thoughts are a worry for this old duffer! If it has been pulled can we expect a reason to be posted??? MM

I didn't get to read this topic. Is there a reason for its being pulled?

It was who posted and why methinks. Since been removed from posting again.

I saw a few replies to it, but it was deleted before I was involved.

Great news! The fewer of these divisive characters the better. For a short time the Tea Shop was well mannered and then things immediately kicked off again. Obviously a valuable lesson for the moderators. Lets hope swift and decisive action continues taking out those who continually flout the rules.

Hi,
I could say it's been a bit like 007.
But in all honesty it's more Miss Marples, she's gone to put the kettle on for now

In these circumstances, considering ones own posting history, moderation history and feedback from other members would be better advised than criticising others.

Thank you to the mods for taking action.

Hi Guys, As one who has felt aggrieved at being shown the yellow card one has to review ones own actions and keep on the right side of bad taste!
Never take it for granted if your posting gets naughty that you will escape sanction.
There was nothing wrong with the topic, I even added my six penneth, but alas a serial offender crossed the line, so the mods stepped in!
I never saw his post, but from what I know it was a deserved punishment, no name, no pack drill
So we move forward, hopefully with tolerance and good humour (I test the last criterion?). Robust is fine, Rough is not. TTFN MM

You're ALL moderators.

Use the Alert function if you feel something is wrong or insulting or defamatory or or objectionable or whatever.
The Mods will see your alert and take action.

So where's my powers? I've got no moderator superpowers.

More likely we're snitches! We're the Stasi's eyes and ears. Censorship I aargh....

Another topic has been vanished. I have an alert for it. Clicking the alert tells me I am not authorised to read that forum. I guess it is in the mods' private stash.
