Long service

Post by fausto copy »

Just posted our Cycling UK renewals off and noticed we have been members for 26 years now.
I seem to recall a couple of years ago that there was a new "long service" badge for 25 years.
Never got ours; anyone recall it?

Many years ago there were badges but that got discontinued. In fairly recent times they reintroduced recognition of lengthy membership, I believe by letter of certificate.

I have been a member for 52 years, totally unacknowledged.

I got a 25 year badge & certificate a couple of years ago.

I just checked my membership card & it must have been nearly 3 years ago, as I joined in May 1992.
