Now the idiot Mr Johnson and his crew of imbeciles say if you can drive a car and caravan you can drive a 32tonne(sorry for the metric)lorry on our roads and make a living out of it.

I don't know where this has come from, but I'm pretty sure there's no proposal to allow driving that weight of vehicle on a car license.

I had a good look this evening for other European countries experiencing food shortage due to supply chain problems . I couldn't find harmful effects anywhere near the same as Great Britain's.

Did you consider that it isn't really international news?
The fact remains that there's a shortage of 400,000 drivers in the EU, whatever it was they were delivering, isn't getting delivered, obviously.
The issue is compounded, in the UK and EU, by the paper thin margins logistics and transport companies work with. There's 26 full size pallets on a standard trailer, the break even point is likely to be 24. Trailers running with 80% loads either have to increase charges or will lose money.

Article linked to earlier explains how EU fleet operators are able to operate more efficiently than those in the UK the person interviewed stated 4%-5% which apparently makes a big difference (hence Poland which has a far greater shortage than UK is not suffering the same impacts).

The importance of the shortage of HGV drivers in the UK is that we can't deliver things such as food, vaccines, sewage treatment chemicals, and vehicle fuel. A knock-on effect is that we can't empty bins. Which other European countries are experiencing the same, please?

Try Google, your demands for evidence are one sided, provide some of your own, you're the one challenging a comment made, do so with some evidence please.
