I would never, ever read the Sun. Not because I am a Scouser. Nor that mind my is closed to differing views. It is not an organ for another point of view. It makes things up, never makes any attempt at a proper thought out approach but apply appeals to some awful instincts. As far as I am concerned it is without value. I do read Newspapers with a POV different to mine (or the Guardian). For example, I read the Telegraph from time to time. I rarely agree but they at least set out a proper argument. I am sceptical about it because it is owned by people who have a personal vested interest, but it is an intelligent paper: just not one I agree with.
