Britain from above - great website.

Post by pete75 »

Recently found this - aerial photographs of many parts of the country with some dating back to the 1920s.

I use it for work, along with various historic maps sites and Google earth historic AP. Can spend hours getting side tracked!

I do like that site but the photo reproduction is not great. The originals must have had better resolution. Nevertheless I can make out my current house on several shots and it has answered a lot of questions when I have been looking into local history.
