Some light in the race relations darkness

Postby Carlton green » 15 Jun 2020, 7:21pm

In his actions this big burly coloured guy did more to improve racial harmony than the thousands complaining about black lives mattering. We could do with a few more like him who understand about violence and seek peaceful outcomes (he’s of mature years and a personal trainer so will have many insights). The picture says it all and I hope that his actions are widely commended for their commons sense, clear headed ness, bravery and humanity.

Title edited for listing clarity.

There are people who generally support what you might call Black Lives Matter as a slogan at least, but who also display common sense and kindness. My own kids, both adults now, want the world to be fairer, but they don't use violence to vent their frustration. They just want the complacency to end and progress to begin. Which hopefully it will.

Nice story of simple human decency though.
