Skinflint! Or perhaps you don't need to cut your hair anymore :)
I could say the same too, But I still cut my hair so it's going a bit thin on top.
Toenails need cutting least once a week though :?

Pub - I cut my own hair. However, I won’t be rushing to the pub either.

It was two shillings last time I crossed a barbers floor.
I won’t be going into a pub but might be tempted by a beer garden lunchtime if it comes the right time on a walk or cycle

Hair?
Not had any hair for years! :D

Just come back from the Rising Sun Inn.
Opened at noon, and me and the doggie were there shortly after 1pm, and we were the sixth person in.
Had to sign the log ....... name and contact number, but they knew who I was and where I lived, and I knew everyone there too and where they lived.

And they all said, "Hello Sailor!"

Pubs aren't open here (Wales), and I'm not sure about barbers but I cut my own anyway.

Must be at least 20 years or more now queueing for hours and then they want £3.50 for about 10 to 15 minutes work.
Started with the mains electric trimmer, overheated or wore out can't remember which.
Got two rechargeable hair and beard trimmers, the Lidls one came with a li-on battery and £12-£15, probably outlast me.
It's not rocket science I find.

You would be lucky thats the price 20 years ago?. I do my own also, with clippers bought years ago. There is an advantage to looking like a rough people keep away from you  some one like to inform him what a hair cut costs these days?

Just called for a swift one whilst walking the dog.
There were three people sat at a table in the beer garden so I asked them what the crack was before going in.Not much difference really!
No one inside (about 13;00) except the two girls behind the bar with those paper face masks on.There doesn't seem to be fewer tables. The space between the doors and bar has always been open and it's large anyway.Card or cash accepted but prefer card. Was asked to stand on the little footprints a metre or so from the bar. That was it really.Quite painless.I sat outside.Had a chat with the folks outside who were off to another pub who are asking you download an App from Greene King.It is about a quarter of the size so will be really interesting to see how they have sorted it.
I will be giving evenings a miss for the first few weeks.

NB.I didn't see nor was I asked to sign any log book etc.I do call here quite often but as it's had 6 or 7 managers in the last 4 years I wouldn't say they particularly know me.

You could meet your barber at the pub.

No need of a haircut, my hair's well below shoulder level and has been for 20 years or so.
Unfortunately my local's landlord died (heart attack not cv) in April so I can't go to the pub either. If he was  still here I'd have been outside the door at 12:00

No.

We had clean glasses for each drink, not normally done in these parts for beer.
It's comparatively recently that I've stopped using my own tankard as it stared to get a bit bent and split. Still have it though.

I was led to believe that having a fresh glass with every drink became some sort of law in the 90s?Has this been relaxed of late?We aren't given the option of using the same glass and it's years since I've seen anyone use their own pot.Pewter pots were the pot of choice in the locals where I grew up.
