I wonder if he's fully recovered from his bout of COVID. Has anyone here who's had COVID and was admitted into intensive care and best nearly put on a ventilator recovered and then gone straight back to work like Boris? Not defending him, his government or his advisers but that tired jibe someone made in jest might actually be partly true. How much did COVID take out of people who got it as severely as bojo the clown?

BTW some might suspect I'm politically right if centre but even I have been saying Boris isn't fit for public office from long before he became leader of the Tory party. I'm not alone among those with my political view and if it we'd have been able to vote for a centrist party last December I'm not sure Boris would have made on. Where's a good labour party when we needed one?

Cyclists being left or right wing isn't relevant here because the forum is more left leaning by a long way, however other cycling forums are not. I would say that if cyclists were considered rather than cyclists who post on this forum then you'd not get left or right wing politics leading. Certainly not significantly. I also reckon cyclists, if you don't limit them to small subsets like CUK forumnites, would have as wide a range of views as the general public.

There was an interesting article online, can't remember where but IIRC it's BBC news, where the journalist interviewed people from a Wigan constituency that returned a Tory MP for the first time in over 100 years. There's a few who were not be sure but a few who thought Boris was doing ok. That's a 100+year labour seat close to one of the labour party's leading MPs seat. It's a strange world when traditional labour seats can view how Boris has performed and still think he's ok!!! We've got no hope as a country based on that!!!

Years ago Boris was my MP, he was ok, but, from the start as PM he is operating well above his pay grade. He has close connections with the privileged few and no experience of the sort of life most of us lead. On top of that he is clearly disorganised and comes across as a buffoon. The only reason he is where he is is Brexit, a majority of those who vote want it.
I dont blame the government entirely over Covid. I blame the media which focuses Government attention in the wrong places and the ill disciplined British Public, you only have to watch TV to see that - stupidity abounds!
As for cyclists, individualistic and probably a little more socialist than the norm

Reuse, recycle, thus do your bit to save the planet.... Get stuff at auctions, Dump, Charity Shops, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, Car Boots. Choose an Old House, and a Banger ..... And cycle as often as you can......
