Got the spare old blades out of the boot and managed to get the end cap off,floppy rubber wiper simply slides out making replacement easy,I've ordered a pair of Bosch rubbers of the correct profile off Ebay for £3.29 delivered.
I'll reserve judgement but feel sure they'll be the right ones.
TBH I've never looked closely at the 'aero' type wiper blades before thinking they were a single extrusion of rubber wiper/plastic blade.
I'll report back when they arrive.

I was a teenager and it was probably 1966 or 1967, but the set of five were a pre-decimal 19/- or so ............ if my memory serves me correctly.

Most likely Bedford - here's one of mine and it looks very similar. It also has Made In England on the back. Most of my other brands of UK made tools state Made in Britain.

Yes, your's does indeed look similar.

Morning, I think that my favourite type of spanner/wrench would be the one that combined an adjustable with a hammer, never had one but suspect it would be first tool of choice for some of our number? I honestly recall seeing an image of one! TTFN MM

Windsreen wiper blades arrived today,prised the end caps of and slid out the exsisting rubbers,slid in the new ones clicked the end cap(s) back on and Bob's yer uncle,new spares for £3.29
