Could we agree that it was somewhere between June 2017, the first formal negotiation, and November 2018?

Thanks

We know an Ecclesiastical Lawyer.
That is how he describes himself, so that's why I know what I know.

He isn't a Cannon Lawyer or a Church Lawyer ................ but an Ecclesiastical Lawyer.
Full stop.

He can call himself what he wants. That doesn't make other usage wrong.

And the word you meant to write is "Canon" not "Cannon".

You know one person who describes himself as an Ecclesiastical Lawyer, therefore church law and canon law don't exist??

That's quite some leap of logic there.

Though I do like the idea of a "Cannon Lawyer". Wouldn't want one of those gunning for me...

From the first sentence of the About page of the Ecclesiastical Law Society:
"The Ecclesiastical Law Society exists to promote the study of ecclesiastical and canon law... "
https://ecclawsoc.org.uk/about/

And from the Events page:
Monday 30 November: "Church Law for Archdeacons".
https://ecclawsoc.org.uk/about/calendar-2020/

It's almost as if... all three terms exist...

Thanks for that ........ didn't know about their website ........... but why is the Ecclesiastical Law Society have a journal called the Ecclesiastical Law Journal when they have canon law and church law?
Why aren't there Church Law Society and a Canon Law Society journals?

If there was a Pedantisism Society I would join it! :D

The abundance of synonyms is one of the joys of English. Crosswords wouldn't be the same without them. And indeed aren't in some other languages.

Which takes us back to the date of "the eu separating the withdrawal and trade talks". This is essential in working out when Johnson's pants were on fire.

Yes, ok!

As I said ............. what "laws" exist up in space?

If you are out of the jurisdiction of a territory, laws as such, do not exist.

"Space law is the body of law governing space-related activities, encompassing both international and domestic agreements, rules, and principles. Parameters of space law include space exploration, liability for damage, weapons use, rescue efforts, environmental preservation, information sharing, new technologies, and ethics.[2] Other fields of law, such as administrative law, intellectual property law, arms control law, insurance law, environmental law, criminal law, and commercial law, are also integrated within space law."
