Mick, would you say that driver was motivated by snobbery-driven blind stupidity?
I used to see the same behaviour when I drove my classic cars. Some drivers would take ridiculous risks based, I assumed, on the belief that you were going to slow them down by being in front.
The older I get the more I’m inclined to act my shoe size, not my age.

Yes.
He was being a stupid snob.

I turned off in the village, but even if I'd gone right through I'd have still been whizzing down Newbridge Hill and whizzing across into "England". He would have overtaken easily and legally as soon as I'd started climbing out the other side of the valley.
