The only underlying health problem I see is self importance. Having to share an enclosed space with these eedjiits is not acceptable.

should have just tasered the waste of space.

Going back to the first video, I couldn't make out half of what was being said, What did the lad say to the cop that initiated the arrest?

Our cops have a lot of crap to put up with, amazing they stya so calm. Credit to them.

Surely that’s a racist comment

More seriously it’s just another example of someone acting stupidly. People of all classes act stupidly at times but, perhaps snobbishly, I notice some types of people do it more than others. I’m surprised that the Constable was so gentle really, in days past a Truncheon might have been drawn and little sympathy shown for the offender - we’ve gone too soft.
Don’t fret, it’s OK to: ride a simple old bike; ride slowly, walk, rest and admire the view; ride off-road; ride in your raincoat; ride by yourself; ride in the dark; and ride one hundred yards or one hundred miles. Your bike and your choices to suit you.

There's no doubt about it - that kid and his mates in the video are a bunch of mouthy yobs who needed to be tackled for the sake of everyone else on the train. And fair play to the policeman who did it - difficult job. So mercalia was right to bring this to our attention.

Or was he? Go and have a look at the threads he's started recently. In this 'The Tea Shop' forum, these include (1) a Spectator article attacking the black lives matter movement for targeting statues (2) his own attack on a black applicant who was disgruntled he didn't get a job as a vicar (3) asking whether we should seek damages from China for covid (4) a Spectator article attacking the BBC for being 'woke' (5) a Spectator article on the profitability of slavery, along with mercalia's own criticism of the BLM protesters who've been focusing on it (6) a Spectator article on how the white working class are being left behind by other racial groups.

The reason I point this out is the same reason I would point out someone who continually posted examples of objectionable behaviour by cyclists: i.e. it's easy to get an angry mob baying for blood by 'dropping in' a few emotive titbits about your intended victim. You can set the tone of the discussion simply by curating the emotive media clips you're presenting to us. I could fill this forum with YouTube clips of extremely objectionable white people on public transport - go and look for yourselves, there's thousands of them on there. So don't feel the need to go down a right-wing rabbit hole just because you see a video of a black person behaving like a dick - that sort of behaviour is definitely not exclusive to them.

Scousers are “not classed as a national, racial or ethnic group.”

and now a copper has been killed by a guy with a concealed gun in a police station in Croydon sth London. who would be a beat copper. I wouldnt.

The only thing about the the case of the black guy, if I was the cop I would have wondered if he had a knife and wonder whether it would have been better to wait until he had left the carriage then arrest and fine him on the spot, no argument no discussion. I would not like to be in a position where you have to make that type of decision - handle the case in situ or wait.

You have missed the point. hardly a sound comparison to compare general issues concerning whole groups of people with reports about a few objectionable people that are easily found as you say, thats hardly news. In my case here this was the first time I had seen any official response to the face covering matter I bet I am not the only one to think that no one was enforcing the law. All I keep hearing in supermarkets and at stations is the constant bleating out how you must wear face coverings then see people walking around as if they are deaf. Thats the point. not this jerk-head. there are lots doing what he is doing black, asian or white. look at the title again

Oh you forgot one story I mentioned that black Vogue boss who went into work wearing casuals and was directed to the loading bay by the ( white) security guard who he got sacked for "racial profiling" and then went on a diatribe to use that as an example of BLM ( this was during the time when people were working from home)

I would also imagine the copper would be under a lot of pressure with the fear of being branded a racist on the BBC main news if he had not been anything other than massively lenient, the BLMers would have been out in mass protests. In the second video few would have cared less if the copper had tasered him, notice how quickly the copper went hands on compared to the first video.

Very very sad news about the policeman being shot in Croydon, it seems to be an increasingly difficult and thankless job to do. We don't value our police high enough.

I dont like to use colours to describe people .....unlike you ...but I will use your terms of description;- I did notice that the white police officer , who you claim are oppressive to the black community was accompanied by a black police officer in the video ......was the black officer considered to be oppressive and causing alarm to Ms Cressida Dickhmmmmm?

Would it have been wiser for the second officer to deal with the uncooperative pasenger?Your language is somewhat intemperate and your attempt at humour seems misplaced.i imagine you do not enjoy having your opinions questioned.Hopefully you are not put into similar situations .

Very observant-there is a common theme to these threads and the Spectator has a limited appeal and is read largely by those of a right-wing disposition.I understand political groups now target through social media, with fake members applauding certain seniments falsely creating a sense of consensus
