Re: pukka pies
Aren’t we being a hit harsh on the humble Pukka Pie here, that costs £1.
I had one tonight with mashed potato and peas, and it was very nice, yes my wife is working.
How many of the “far better” pies mentioned here cost £1

Me too: does anyone know the law and/or regulations on this?

Yes please!

Local tiny cafe by the coastguard station sells Cornish style pasties only better than anything I've tried that was actually made in Cornwall. Best pastie I've ever tasted. It's got high meat content and clearly made with fresh meat and veg. Pastry is amazing too. Some Cornish pasties I've had you'd not want to eat the v pastry.

Re: pukka pies
There was an Ivor Dewdney pasty shop in the merry hill centre years ago, I had one but didn't think much of it, all pastry and no filling! Shop wasn't there that long either!
Re: pukka pies
Anyone tried Radford pies of Morcambe.

There are a massive family who have a yearly series on TV about them. Nice family by all accounts.
