I think it's £30 so far. Peetee's suggestion:-

"If it’s within the rules of the forum can this crowdfund initiative be bought to the attention of other forum members not looking at this thread? Perhaps a representative of the museum who frequents this site can oversee the contributions. If not I will do the same with members agreement."

seems a good idea - bringing the crowdfunding initiative to the wider forum looks like a good idea, and may well lead to a larger quantity of smaller donations? Martin Scott (FP)
ETA - I just did a 'recount' and it appears to be £40.

Is there a link to the crowdfunder to cough up out contributions? Apologies if it's obvious, it's hard to see on a mobile 🙄

Thanks to all for their support and generous pledges. Apologies for my silence, but I thought the cause had fizzled out until I was informed yesterday of the subject move to a 'sticky' in the Tea Room area of the forum. It looks like we are close to the target, and I'll post a listing later here in the Tea Room.

Pledges to date...
Lescargo - Refund of postage cost (Looks to be £5.10 for tracked, value up to £100 and signature)
Peetee - Unspecified
kenny A - £10
Delinquium - £10
AMC - £10
Steve y Griffith - £10
Pedalsheep - £10
Godzy89 - £10

Will each of you be able to confirm you are still willing to continue? (this may take a few days of course) by personal message if you prefer. I'll then report back to you all if we are able to proceed, and give the email address for Paypal.
Steve y Griffith, are you able to confirm if a member of staff is likely to be present at the museum to take delivery?
Best regards, Martin (Fastpedaller)

Thanks to those who have confirmed their earlier intention to pledge and also the new pledges - is that a word?
As several days have elapsed, I'll send pm's to the earlier pledgers to establish their intent.
