I seem to remember a newspaper columnist who dreamt up various unlikely scenarios - maybe it was "Beachcomber"
He wrote something about Aztecs venturing to Britain in stone canoes.
They established a colony somewhere like Neasdon.
I think it was in the Telegraph.
