Too Many Signs

Out for an early morning pootle and I stopped by this gate onto the salt marshes. There are six signs ordering people to keep their dogs on leads, two of which tell you it's a bird nesting area. Two more signs tell you that the path leads to New Quay Road.

There's another sign on the gate to the left of this shot and another telling us where the path heads in the other direction, another telling cyclists to ride carefully when near horses and pedestrians. There's a sign on the nearby bin telling people to put their rubbish in the bin. Is this some sort of sign maker job creation scheme

Do we need more signs? Is lack of signage the root of the ills of society?

For connoisseurs of traffic signs, this means "No dogs on leads."

A bit unrelated but when you're wondering which cycle path you are following

(Popular route with local authorities as they can add miles new cycle paths just by putting another label on the signs!)
