Gareth Williams MI6 Death

Post by NATURAL ANKLING »

Hi,
This is come to the news again today because the Met are going to re-investigate.
What I mean is how on earth did he get himself in a zipped up padlocked bag?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_o ... h_Williams
"The inquest found that his death was "unnatural and likely to have been criminally mediated."[2] A subsequent Metropolitan Police re-investigation[3] concluded that Williams's death was "probably an accident"

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/n ... y-23456725

"Hamish Campbell, the now-retired detective chief superintendent who oversaw the investigation, has broken his silence and, along with the barrister for Mr Williams' family, thinks it is time for a new review of the case."

https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wale ... th-2031337

There is no mention of padlocks in the reconstructions?

I think that the Subject should read "MI6". That would avoid confusion.

It's now part of the M25.

I thought we'd had a thread about this at the time, but I've been unable to find it.

It's worth mentioning that the deceased was a time trial rider - IIRC, this was mentioned prominently in the media because there were images available of him in competition.

Apart from anything else, this raises the possibility that bereaved family or friends may access this forum.

Hi,
Is this any different from friends and family been able to access the news which is talking about it at the moment and there's plenty of stuff out there about the details of the situation?
Maybe I missed the point there?

And there was an extensive article in the Sunday Times in February in which l think a member of his family was interviewed for. So they must be aware of interest and comment.

Something else just reminded me of this. FWIW, I do understand that things like this are reported in the media, and often at some length if there's anything to speculate about. The point I tried to make but failed is that this might not be an appropriate place for mocking what I can only call the OP's inimitable style of presentation.
