If the opportunity arises then one should live there once, but the vast majority will leave. Not tired of London, just tired of living there.

Spent ~7 years in London (split about evenly between central and the northern outskirts).
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.

House is nice and habitable now. Sitting room comprehensively decorated and finished. Office refurbished and organised.
All boxes emptied and tip visits declining. Now time for a total break from property related matters, regathering strength. Wedding in a fortnight and a trip away after that.

Congratulations all round, to both you and Eileen. Have a great day and trip away. :D
At the last count:- Peugeot 531 pro, Dawes Discovery Tandem, Dawes Kingpin X3, Raleigh 20 stowaway, 1965 Moulton deluxe, Falcon K2 MTB dropped bar tourer, Rudge Bi frame folder, Longstaff trike conversion on a Giant XTC 840 :D
