We went to see "Quantum of Solace" a few weeks ago.
Good action film, but NOT a Bond film. It just wasn't James Bond-y enough.

My vote goes to Ivanhoe/The Saint/James Bond = Roger Moore.

You know, I never really noticed Pierce Brosnan until I went to see 'Mamma Mia!'. I now think he's rather lovely, actually.

I was very torn between Sean Connery and Roger Moore. In the end went for Roger Moore as he was the 007 I "grew up" with.

What about Bob Holness?
(Just being a pedant)
Connery gets my vote. Brosnan would be the bottom of the list, though Roger Moore wouldn't be far above him. I read the books and Bond came across as a bit of a nasty piece of work at times, and I thought these too attempted tomake the character too likeable. Which is why I'm happy with Daniel Craig, and was with Dalton - neither of whom you'd want to spend any time with in a pub! Moore played it like a slapstick comedy.
