I rode out this morning and did 35 miles into Hilly Devon and back.
This afternoon I cut the grass in the back garden. Yes, it is that steep!!
After all my efforts today, I deserve a few beers this evening.
How many am I allowed to have, to maintain my sylph-like figure?
(I've been good, honest.)
How many calories have I used?

have you considered buying a sheep (mountain goat?) and getting your self some extra riding/drinking time?

STEEP? or have you been to the pub already.

You'll never know if you don't try it.

Jan
Enjoy the beer - I'm sure you've earned it

Re: How many calories have I used?
Four pints.
Was that enough? Have I recharged my batteries?
BTW, hills are a way of life round here ..... The garden from the other direction.
The view from the garden before all the leaves started to grow.
That's Devon(England) over there across the valley.

Wow Mick, that last picture is stunning! Such a contrast to the scenery we have here, deep in the heart of the flat Fens. My idea of a hill climb is tackling the particularily large speedbump outside Asda.
