that sounds lovely :D

I, for another certainly have no objections to driving down to the New Forest next year. Autumn sounds delightful. :P If it's flat enough I may even take the Rover down there (unless I place a bid on a 1908 Dursley Pedersen that's coming up for auction soon of course  )
Some good pics there, Tim. The beard that I hired looks bigger and more unruly than I'd anticipated - well worth every penny I spent on it. However, I must dash as I have to return it to the BBC's props department by 11.00 o'clock this morning

...... in addition to failing to be dropped on a another climb the next day by a triathlete on 20mm tyres and aluminium frame

That was Tim and I. He tried goading me into overtaking the triathletes at the top of the climb but I wasn't having any of it - not wanting to be censured for racing and breaking the TCT rules and all that. And we weren't racing, honest, just demonstrating the capability of our steeds. (It wasn't half good fun though!)

I did
But in the spirit of Nelson and the proximity of his birthplace, I decided to turn the proverbial blind eye - like this

Here's a couple of pics from my mobile. Thanks Tim & Tim for the pictures you've posted - I was photographically disorganised for this trip so am really appreciating the shared pictures.

Matt's really late back this week as he's on site - but there will be pics soon, honest
Showed the owner of the Raleigh Wayfarer Tim's pics today but he was disgusted by the lack of bike porn - said he wasn't interested in us lot & where were the pictures of the bikes? Can't believe I didn't take a whole series of Greybeard's impressive rack.
