Manganase superoxide dismultase is responsible for the detoxification of reactive oxygen species in the mitochondria, so I'd get some if I were you.

Not at all. That's how Christine got her name - I haven't a clue who made the frame, only that they got it right.
I reckon you've got the makings of a 'Mary' there - as in Shelley. (Did you see what I did there? The first name of the author of Fra...... Oh. Forget it then :? )

Steve (wot's only trying to help  )

Ok, it's your fault

"Christine" inspired me to build the 'James' into a "Path Racer" but alas being a shoddy Raleigh frame it rode like a pedal-powered coal-burning Rayburn :| I reconfigured said bike into a ordinary plain vanilla upright 'light' roadster, and it was like a Rayburn with wind resistance.

So that means Frankenbike will need a full ground-up restoration to become my second attempt at a "Christine" :|

Still, at least I already know it rides like an absolute dream

This time I'm ditching the heavy steel hub brakes and going with calipers. It's going to be entirely black with no chrome or shiny metal at all. The only other colour will be gold pin-striping and lug lining. I'm having it wet sprayed and lacquered as I find powder coating, though durable, a little flat and boring. This thing will gleam.

I've been right through the BSA catalogues and have found some beautiful sports bikes from the 30s with the identical lazy angles, so I shall copy one of them. Gears will be Sturmey, but in the form of the c1906 Type X I've been saving for something special (the BSA three-speed hub was a Type X made under license right up til the 50s, so it's entirely appropriate). Mudguards will be utilised for practicality, and will be lightweight black celluloid jobs (if I can source them).

I like the bottom one and love those funky stems. I bet even Madgetts don't have one of those in stock. That chainset looks suspiciously like it has c*tter pins  though.

measure it's diameter and length to work out it's outside volume and subtract the volume of oil.

this will give you what the average wall thickness is along it's entire length.

We'd need a temperaure controlled environment though to ensure a high degree of accuracy in the calculations (in best adenoidal voice)

If he don't, I probably will. They do vary in size though - I had to make one for the Rover from scratch
