It would be late August, or better still early September, just after the sprogs have gone back to school


Good - I'm pretty sure I can be there. My family hols. are happening in early - mid August.

i love traction engines. 1 in 3 have lincoln, england cast in brass on the front :mrgreen: fun to drive too, although that was a fowlers of leeds :P

Steve - is there a steam railway nearby? I know of a traction engine collection :wink:

my brother is getting married on 16th sept.

the FNRTTC lot are doing york to hull on sept 9th

can you please not arrange it on those w/es? :?

Fair enough about your brother's wedding, but logically the FNRTTC happens frequently :roll:

it does, however, all but one are in the south of england. it's a expensive transport problem either getting a bike on the train to london, or finding my way around it in my van and parking it somewhere.

also, it's full of londoners :P

10th and 11th September is a sailing weekend for the keel :roll: So that may mean missing out on the nrttc AND a tourette if the worst happened. :(

At this early point in time (though with only a week to go before I need to fix a date) it's looking most likely that the Tourette will happen on either the first or third weekend in September, ie 3rd/4th or 17th/18th.
