Top 2 are his and hers Orbit Tourers, bottom set is my 531 Bob Jackson "Golden Jubilee" and swmbo's Liv.

Yes - it is Manod Mawr (and Manod Bach) near Ffestiniog.
And the bike is a Thorn Mercury, which I use all the time now. I have had some problems with my hands which doesn't allow me to use drops any more or do any gear changes with my LH.
So I switched from my Spa Ti Audax to this. The Thorn is not as quick or as responsive to a few quick turns of the pedals, but I have grown to like it, and it is certainly very comfortable.
And the bike is a Thorn Mercury, which I use all the time now. I have had some problems with my hands which doesn't allow me to use drops any more or do any gear changes with my LH.

I'm not a mercury rider and I'd say that too. Is that a hub gear system?

Great looking bike and a lovely photo - I can almost smell the moorland!
