Jeans?

Where's the bicycle clips?

Good action shot though!

ps.
Does the rear derailleur arm catch on the road on a right-hander?

I've only just seen your pic. Can you tell us anything about this picture? I presume it is not some junior trnsport minister from the time of Earnest Marples launching another cycling initiative?

This is my brandnew Super galaxy, with slight modifications, I had the drop handlebars exchanged for mtb handlebars.
And a Brooks B17 because it is a must, got one on my two other bikes.
I am still running it in, if the weather allows me.Image

I'd have just taken the saddle from one of the other two... to save the breaking-in.

Normally I would have used one of the old saddles, but they both looked kind of tacky next to this light tan B17.
Being 79 kilo (12 stone) and 5’-10” I never had to many problems with saddle pain.

By the way, I feel I am going to like this Dawes Super Galaxy, first impressions are very positive, some hate the color, I love it… looks great.

Eleven feet ten inches?

Are you in the Guinness Book of Records?

(or was it a typo?)

Colin, is that a carry-cot you've got on the back? I thought I'd seen it all!

No pioneer, my carry-cot days are over thank goodness. What you see there is a horribly practical clip-on steel mesh shopping basket from Basil.nl.
I know it's not Campag and tubs, but it's a great bike for just hacking around the village. All it needs is a front wicker basket and I can be off to St Marys Mead...
