Duct/Duck Tape?

Well which one is correct ? I was in MFI today and they label it "duck". I always thought it was "duct". I dont think I will sleep tonight.

Don't panic! it's both, Duck tape is a brand name of Duct tape.

Same as most people calling a vacuum cleaner, a Hoover.

For me the name I use depends upon what I am applying it to. If I were taping up a duct then I would call it Duct Tape, if on the other hand... :twisted:

Its simple Duck tape costs more than duct tape,thats why the bills higher.
Thats a quacker!!!

Of course one could call it carpet tape.

Don't buy 'Duck' tape as the store will stick you with a large bill :P

I've found this old photo out that I took of some ducks, when the wind kept blowing its feathers on its head (the middle one), it had a proper bouffant. :lol:

That's what duck tape is for!
