Offering No 3

"The Bush problem" by me

Theres something talking to us from that burning Bush
Could it be the same voice that spoke to Moses
where the land wasn't so lush.

Tonys listening and taking note,
"come on George lets go get saddam by the throat,
"no"says George they'll never fall for that,it will surely turn sour,
We'll tell them he can fire missiles in threequarters of an hour,
then when we're in there we'll change our tune,
We'll tell them its for democracy and the peoples health,
They'll never guess its for oil and to steal their wealth

But George ,some may suspect they may smell a rat,
With all our smoke and mirrors they'll never guess that,
anyway I got Rumsfelt on the case,
if it all goes pear shaped its him they'll disgrace.

Oh and Tony you've got Prescott, whats his fee?
George at the moment he needs no help from me,
That settles it then lets do it as soon as we can,
and after Iraq theres always Iran,

Now George because of our special friendship you know i'm your man,
but hadn't we best first finnish the job in Afganistan.

What do you mean another God given city to fight over?
Or a nationalistic song for us all to get dewy eyed over? :0)

There was a young man from Australia
Who painted his bum like a dahlia
Threppence a smell
Went very well
But sixpence a lick was a failure!

Sorry.

Being

We don't know how to be,
being is simple but,
we always want more,
more is less
less is more,
always craving some experience or other,
sensory input,
a distraction from the being.

Frodsham July 2004

Book,french translation,
sun,pavement cafe,
willowy lady,Earl Grey,teapot empty,

It stands and waits.......

More reading ,no tea,more sun,
less stress,
I sit in this roadside oasis,
not quite bliss,
you're not here.
