I've nearly finished my long discourse telling the tale of my 1800 mile MegaBikeRide from LAND'S END to JOHN O'GROATS AND BACK over three weeks during last July.

Would it be well received if I posted each day's journey on this board, perhaps at the rate of one day per week?

I can easily cut and paste from my document, and I think people would find it interesting and informative.

Shall I do it?

Why not stick it on myspace or similar as a blog?

The reason I metnioned Dervla Murphy as the best cycling writer in her genre
(present company excepted) is that she avoided mentioning her bike at all!
It was what happened while she was with her companion, which seemed to be human, that mattered. Only very occasionally did we discover that, in the middle of Zulu South Africa, was a woman alone, on a bike, doing her best to look like a man!

You never know what might happen in the future Can't promise anything at the moment though, I'm afraid.
