My father used to tell how he was shown into his room in a B&B to see a plaque above the bed, "Claud Butler Slept Here".

C.B. had a label on the back of his saddle bag, "I am Claud Butler".

I can't imagine the boss of Trek doing that.

My father used to joke about silly book titles such as, "Lion Taming by Claud Balls".

The Haunted House by Hugo First,

Rusty Bedsprings by IP Knightly.

Goodness this brings back memories, possibly better forgotten?

One last silly: Old Chinese proverb, "Man who walk through airport turnstile sideways, going to Bangkok."
