Great film with one of my all-time fave screen villains, Al Lettieri. You just looked at any picture of this man and you knew he was a bad 'un!!

Is that the one where Marylin Monroe wears this bright red long, clingy dress made out of a shiny cloth, and she walks slowly down a wide, winding staircase........?

Steady John, steady!

I think its the one where she plays bat and ball in a rather provocative manner

But then MM could make anything look provocative

King Kong yeah the original for me although Jessica Lange was nice to look at in the first remake.

Since I can't separate my favorite films from my greatest experience at the movies I have to agree with you on the movie "Brazil"! Blade Runner is a close second and I think they have aged well considering the futuristic setting. Third place is either "A Clockwork Orange" or "The Graduate".

Just found Ridley Scott's first film free on the net and thought it might be of interest.

Boy and Bicycle from 1965, 27 min.

Made initially on a budget of £65 using a Bolex 16mm cine-camera! Completed in 1965 with the help of a grant provided by the BFI's Experimental Film Fund. Apparently filmed in Hartlepool as he was once a student at West Hartlepool College of Art. Reminds me of my own childhood even though I'm not from Britain.

The Ladykillers - 1950s version.

The Vanishing - not the US remake.

Carry On Behind.

Once upon a time in the west
. Powerful, cruel, amazing score and Cardinale at her most beautiful.

Departures. Simple, human a nearly perfect film.

Lord or the Rings. We'll probably enjoy them again at Christmas

so many to choose from, so many so close
