Chasewater
Ah, thought so - the bleakness in the background gives it away a bit. Keep meaning to get up there to photograph the new NG stuff but the dam was out last time I tried.

Re: Railway Pictures
and how many end to enders have riden past these next two?

Percussive maintainance, if it don't fit, hit it with the hammer.
Re: Railway Pictures
Another picture. Not as impressive as the HST at full pelt though (see above)....

Re: Railway Pictures
Easy as the names on the board.
Not impressed with the train journey.
Mostly in cuttings or trees so only glimpses of the scenery now and again.

You'll never know if you don't try it.

Is that Claypole level crossing?
Quite some years since I've cycled over it, but it immediately looked familiar

You have to keep switching side to see the scenery. Alternatively, use the cycle path (sustrans 45? the Mercian Way) that runs along side it (to varying degrees). On the cycle path you get more scenery plus you get a better view of the trains too - and it doesn't cost £20 for a return!
