Hi Everyone,
I have just joined (the chap at the London Bike Show was very persuasive!)
Having recently retired, I have bought a hybrid with a view to using local trails and off-road routes to explore the area of the Wirral where I live. Hopefully, I will also get fitter.
I look forward to taking part in CTC and in the forum.
Regards,
Ramsay

if at first you don't succeed, then skydiving probably isn't the hobby for you !!!
Re: Introductions
It's a great club Ramsay. Find out if there is some organised CTC midweek and Sunday rides near you. You'll get a warm welcome.
Good luck

Wirral where I live
I'm guessing that the hybrid may be a Boardman, then!
Welcome!

Hello Ramsey,
Welcome to the forum and THE CTC. Being from the Wirral you will be part of Chester & North Wales DA ( or member group as they are now called). Check the website ;
http://www.ctcchesterandnwales.org.uk/news.html
It's full of info, events and contacts. There is an event on Sunday 1st April " The early Season Tourist Trial" a very popular 50 mile ride that stars from Higher Kinnerton just south of Chester. it's a very sociable day out but also very popular so " book early" as Fred Pontin used to say! It's not a race and you have 5 hours to complete it.
You'll find we are a friendly bunch and you will be made very welcome. Hope to see you there!
