But this clip doesn't show it. It WOULD have gone too far if normal football were banned, and only the polytunnel-protected variety were allowed. If you google "Ashbourne Shrovetide Football", you see what the beautiful game used to be, before the Association rules were plucked out of the air. This is just a further development.
