Some spare tickets if anyone is interested.
But does include other events:-

I can't for the life of me think why I'd ever want to travel to London.
Why I'd ever want to travel to London to watch a cycling event when its on the TV,no chance.

Whats that?
You want me to pay for it too?

Three and a half grand!?!?!? I'd expect the contest to be rigged for me to bag at least the silver medal for three and a half grand.

Tell you what, R2, you can move in for the price of an olympic cycling ticket, but only if you pay for me to go to see the cycling as well.

I'll leave you my part-used puncture outfit and CO2 cylinders for company.

Note:
We don't have a TV.

I hope you were saying that it is Mick being lucky rather than the South West is puncture free. I've had two punctures today and my bike hasn't left my room! Faulty tube has gone in the bin.

I think I'll pass.

I live in hope that as I work for one of the major sponsors of the Olympics I might just get a ticket ... though I'm not holding my breath !

If the world cup round was anything to go by, some one prepared to pay that extraordinary price is in for a great time.

If you've yet to discover the joys of London or the TVs fine for you, that's cool, but someones memories will last a lifetime:

As I understand it, the sensible people got their tickets from France, or Belgium, or somewhere else in the EU, where tickets are sold at face value without the ridiculous lottery or overpriced tour package.

I went to see last year's road race warm-up because it wasn't on the telly.

I went to the Pringle a couple of weeks ago for the World Cup because my mate treated me to some tickets.

So, as Olympic road and track events are televised, I'll use the telly.

Isn't it just wonderful, I applied for every Olympic cycling event but got absolutely nothing. On the other hand, should I be prepared to pay an extortionate amount of money to a private company I could go and see those events. Just shows what nonsense Boris and the other politicians are spouting when they say the ticket sales are fair. Not that I am in any way surprised.

I don't need to pay money to stay in London. I live there. I just want to see the events.

Jan

(I did get two tickets for one of the athletics evenings - much looking forward to it.)

I had a lovely time watching the recent test event. Flying an armchair, tigger curled up on my lap, cup of tea by my side. Perfect. That's how I'm watching the olympics. :D
So what's with the weird looking moped at the front of the line? Never seen one like that before.
