I would like to criticise smokers for their polution but quite honestly a lifetime of smoking will not cause as much polution as a tank full of fuel in my car.
However smoking and running cars indoors in public places is definately harmfull to other people and should not be allowed.

In Scotland we've had the no smoking ban for a wee while already, I went down to Liverpool a few months ago and it was so strange going for a pub lunch and realising that people were still puffing away next to you as you ate.

You get used to it really quickly, honest! :)
