The arrival of a grandson,Jonathon George last night at Wigan Infirmary(where else).Said sprog weighing in at 9lbs 1oz :shock: ,mother and baby doing well.Child back tandem ordered(only joking). :) :) :)

No, I have three daughters and four granddaughters,so he is a first in a way. :)

Me and Burscough Girl are utterly delighted. Welcome to The Lancashire Lad!

I remember Wigan Infirmary well, just along from the entrance to Haigh Hall. I spent a few hours there with a broken wrist back in '64. Stlll aches now. Mind you, I never gave birth there to a 9lb baby boy!

My son was 8lb 13 oz and was as skinny as a rake when he was born, he was just long and thin with a little thin face like an old man. He looked like Gollum. :lol: He was already needing the 3 month size baby gros too so I had to take a lot of the clothes I'd bought him back to the shops and change them. :roll:



When do we get to see a photo? :D
