What is this?

Postby Mick F » 24 Sep 2013, 2:17pm

I had an idea of asking the forum whether I should rescue this bike.

I've seen it a few times as I've passed by this garden - about a dozen miles from here - and never really looked at it. I couldn't get a better shot of it coz it's through the hedge and I don't like taking photographs of peoples' gardens.

I don't think it's a real bike.
What does the team think?

It looks purely ornamental to me. Perhaps it was designed to hold flowers.
Do you know who lives there? They might let you in for a closer look, especially if you arrive by bike.
Thank goodness for soup.

Definitely a mock up, they probably paid more for that than they would buying a BSO off ebay. Still if its what they like fair play to them :)
Percussive maintainance, if it don't fit, hit it with the hammer.

Well spotted!
Pity there's no price shown.

It could be cheaper to buy a £50 Tesco BSO.
