Boycott, hitting anything for a six? Don't be daft, it needs a good forward defensive...
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

Just having a chunk with a cuppa.

I had one (original one...not tried the dark chocolate ones....yet! - thanks for suggestion Mick...will do that!) as a Christmas pressie. Delighted that they were just as I remembered them - same packaging, the same foil paper inside and spelling Toblerone along the side of each chunk (oopps...I mean "Alp" ). Tasted just the same too :D

Unless I am mistaken, Toblerone remains unchanged...well that is going to be my excuse!

Walnut Whips seemed to disappear for quite a while. I bought them as a teenager, and now they're back. So I'll survive the loss of Creme Eggs that are worth eating, quite happily :D

NOOOOO.
The correct term is ALP,you're having an Alp with a cuppa,Chunks are pineapples in a can!
Where is this laid down that the Toblerone triangles are called Alps?

If my memory serves me correctly, an alp is a flat green place (pasture?) on the side of a mountain. Think of Heidi, or The Sound of Music.

The Alps are a complete mountain range.

I though the word for a high pasture is "Alm", not "Alp". In Heidi there's a character called "Alm-Uncle" (though it may be different in the original German).

I'm not allowed Toblerone just at the moment :( - whether it be an 'alp' or the entire bar.... ****** diet!

As a Toblerone isn't green or snowcapped or even connected to the Labour Party in Oz, I reckon my calling bits of it as "chunks" is quite fair. :D

As it comes from Switzerland(not Australia)and is supposed to resemble the Alps, snow capped or not,I think Alp is a fair description of a portion of a Toblerone,Mr Connolly agrees(of course it carries the usual Billy language warning) :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GT65nIU6fhc
Enjoy,as they like to say :)

(I have my pedantic head on)

The Alps is a mountain range.
Note the capital A and the singular "is".
One mountain in the Alps is not an Alp.
It's like calling a a mountain in the Andes and Ande, or a mountain in the Pyrenees a Pyrenee

Feeling equally as pedantic,a lot of Alps are termed a 'range' as in Alpine mountain range, and as it's better if only for packaging reasons Toblerone(not ''out on it's own'',remember that one  )is a series of Alpine peaks in a line, ergo one ''out on it's own'' is singular ie;Alp :)

So.....therefore....the only way to solve this...

....is.....

.....to....eat the whole bar then!.....Including all of the chunks and or Alps!

If that is what it takes to avoid Creme Eggs then I am convinced by either argument :D

Which would mean eat the whole range :)
Not a bad idea IMHO,unless you've someone to share your geochocology with :)

I'd stop eating chocolate in it's entirety if it meant I could only eat Cadbury's cream eggs :| YUK!

Toblerone . . . Alp!

Chunks of triangle-shaped chocolate often referred to as an Alp, as in a request for a second piece. Said correctly . . . "May I have a second Alpine, because I've consumed the last serving. Usually requested by middle to upper-class children. :? :?

I see.

Where does that leave poor Ronnie Corbett than, should he fancy another chunk of Toblerone?
