Poland 1984

Went to a butchers shop
'Have you any pork?'
'no!'
'beef?'
'no!'
'sausages?'
'no, but I must say, you have a good memory!'
'what do you have?'
'see for yourself!'
All I could see was the national coat of arms
'Please to pack for me a kilo of eagle', I bleated

Went to a lot of trouble preparing supper for my Lady Friend
'This lentil soup is lovely!', she exclaimed. 'Did you open the tin yourself?'

Reminds me of the one about the Laird entertaining his guests to a grand dinner. During the fish course, he proudly announces:
"You know, I struggled an hour with that salmon."

From further down the table comes the reply:
"Yes I know. The tin-openers they make nowadays are no good at all..."

Little Amanda went with uncle Cyril to Half odds to help buy new windscreen wipers
Back home she told mum: 'we just bought some new holders for Cyril's parking

Interestingly (or not?) the still picture of the clip cuts Ms Soubry out of the frame altogether and Farage nearest to the camera appears larger than the others.

Now a media sceptic might argue why not post a picture of all the panellists "full frontal"?
If you will excuse the expression!!

That is not a joke, it is a set of personal insults, whatever your political views. Could you please stay on topic?

Perhaps they should be arrayed in two tiers like in University Challenge. But which side should be on top?
