We are cool

Post by blackbike »

Now, plenty of roadies are swapping carbon racers for steel touring bikes and the UK is set to have its first cycle touring festival

i think this old fuddy-duddy may be tempted to dust off the tandem and drag the missus to that "touring festival" as it sounds like fun (hopefully) and it's local-ish....i may even learn something whilst i'm there.

Once the trendy folk start cycling in jeans, t-shirt and running shoes I too will join the ranks of the cool...

An underground scene! How cool is that :D

(Is "cool" still a cool word? Or has it gone the same way as groovy? Perhaps "An underground scene! how bitchin' is that!")

I've always been of the opinion that "cool"= "not giving a damn what others think, making your own way".
So I've always been cool, but no-one has ever agreed.

I am planning to go to that festival. It's not that far from home anyway.
